In veiled whispers, truth does abide, Like shadows, elusive, it tries to hide, Obscured from view, its essence we yearn, For light alone reveals what we discern. Amidst the darkness, secrets may reside, Yet light's radiance grants vision worldwide, Shadows hold fragments, but not the complete, Denying daylight, they cloak the deceit. The life untouched by the sun's gentle rays, Forever dwells in a perpetual haze, Only in light's embrace, truth shall be known, For shadows alone cannot stand alone.
A field of burning,
scorched earth.
Beneath the heat,
the choking smoke.
I am the earth,
now burned,
no more than a blackened husk.
A seed planted,
now grows.
Nothing more than a shard.
Nothing left of such.
The broken man once before,
now, nothing more.
That which was becoming whole,
now, nothing more.
Shattered and strewn,
the life no more.
